Digging a little deeper, here’s the other Madvillain records we’ve released. There was Curls & All Caps (Radio Promo) made for DJs in c. late 2003 or early 2004, a few of which had painted covers. The original release of “One Beer” came out as a promo-only 7-inch single in 2004, about 1000 copies were pressed. Four Tet & Koushik remixes came out on a single CD and two limited runs of vinyl without sleeves in 2005. Out of nowhere Madlib remixed the entire album in 2008. We first released this as a box set containing the new remix album, the demos on tape, and some other things. There were a couple special editions of Madvillainy on vinyl – the 10th anniversary one, and the “Sire” edition – both of these were the normal record with some fresh packaging.
