The Red & The Official
OUT OF PRINT. This was the first official release by J Dilla and Madlib as Jaylib. The single contains "The Red" (original version – vocal, radio edit, instrumental) b/w "The Official" (vocal, radio edit, instrumental).
The cover is black on one side, red on the other, with letters in spot-gloss. The design shown here is the 2003 release, which went out of print circa 2006.
Note: A second sleeve was printed in late 2006, a similar black & red design, with the "Jaylib" stencil on both sides. This 2006 edition was printed in small quantity, but never released.
