Michi released her album Dirty Talk back in 2025, a nostalgic trip through the ups and downs of love. Now she’s teaming up with label mates Mndsgn and Knxwledge for Dirty Talk: Sunshine Hotline Mixes, a record featuring two new covers and remixes of tracks from her debut.
Following the release of Dirty Talk, Knxwledge shared three house remixes of tracks from the album. These remixes, plus an unreleased remix of “Memmy (Recuerdo)”, will appear on Dirty Talk: Sunshine Hotline Mixes, along with remixes by Mndsgn. The first taste is “Are You Lonesome?”, out today.

While touring together in 2025, Michi and Mndsgn began sharing some of their “favorite gems from the past”. Soon after, they got together to record their version of “Are You Lonesome Like Me” by The Feminine Complex – a track that became their “morning soundtrack obsession”.
Michi says: “Through touring with Mndsgn last fall, we realized we had similar taste. It’s been sweet to have a natural flow and sacred space of intention, and reviving such important music that is timeless. Also if you are heartbroken or missing your ex, something’s in the air for real.”
Just before the release of Dirty Talk: Sunshine Hotline Mixes, Michi, Mndsgn, Knxwledge and Stones Throw founder Peanut Butter Wolf will be on tour in Japan for a series of shows celebrating
