Knxwledge and Rhymezlikedimez have collaborated on this two-sided T-shirt of Knx and his “toy poodle” Koko.

The character Koko was first used by Knxwledge on a tour poster for shows he did in Japan in 2013, and was originally drawn by artist McKay Felt. The character was never used on a record or video releases until Stones Throw art director Jeff Jank asked several artists to depict Koko for pieces relating to Knxwledge’s 1988 album. From there Koko appeared in three animated shorts by Rhymezlikedimez for 1988 tracks, on the 10,000 Proof EP cover illustrated by McKay Felt, and on the Koko EP cover illustrated by Guodong Zhao.
Rhymezlikedimez is a Belgian illustrator and animator who we first collaborated after spotting an illustration he made of NxWorries posted on Tumblr in 2015. He created a cover concept for their album Yes Lawd! but didn’t officially work with us and the group until the Yes Lawd! Remixes album in 2017.
