John Carroll Kirby hit the road with some friends to open for Khruangbin throughout North America this past Spring. Here’s Kirby and company playing his hit “Mates” from his latest album Blowout, released back in June 2023 live in Chicago. The band also surprised the crowd medley of “Butterfly” by Herbie Hancock, “Tong Poo” by Yellow Magic Orchestra, and “Rainmaker”.
