This is "Number One" by Tuxedo – Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One – on a 33 1/3 RPM postcard. We just made a few of these to send out to some of our pen pals around the world.
This thing plays. We're not going to claim that a match for vinyl – if you're a working DJ, you'd want to think twice about throwing it on in the middle of a disco dance party – but it plays.
Tuxedo's album will be released March 3rd. They have just announced a live performance and release party in Los Angeles, March 4th at The Regent Theater with guests Dam-Funk and Peanut Butter Wolf. Mayer & Jake will also be in Europe this month doing the DJ thing at the dates below.
