The second single to drop from James Pants’s anticipated full-length, Welcome, “We’re Through” throbs to that uptempo pulse reminiscent of both early ’80s boogie and early house. The analog synth melodies combine with funky go-go bells and churning congas, giving club goers from L.A. to London to Spokane, Washington (Pants’s current hometown) the dance-friendly fix they’ve been salivating for ever since the debut single “KA$H” came in from left-field to much acclaim last summer.
