Update: We have our winners. See you there.

(a) The Lions are a 12-man reggae group, currently working on an
album for Stones Throw.  The band draws together some of LA's reggae and
soul forerunners – members of the legendary ska band Hepcat, Deston
Berry and Alex Désert, form half of the vocal team, and the latter also
has a successful career on screen, including roles in the films Swingers
and High Fidelity.  The other half is the sweet falsetto of Malik Moore
and DJ stylings of Black Shakespeare, the charismatic cousin of Robbie
Shakespeare (of Sly & Robbie fame) and co-runner of the i&i
Sound System, a customized ice cream van bringing bass to the streets up
and down the west coast.

(b) Peanut Butter Wolf will perform an all-reggae video set. Wolf is the founder of Stones Throw Records and has been specializing in video DJ sets for the last several years. His video crates weigh a ton.

(c) Dub Club is every Wednesday at the Echoplex, 1154 Glendale Blvd, Los Angeles CA. Ages 21+, Cost is $10.
