In the store | DUST & GROOVES: ADVENTURES IN RECORD COLLECTING
For five years photographer Eilon Paz has been traveling around the world, photographing all kinds of record collectors and their vinyl. First, he began publishing photos on his website, then a couple years ago we told you about a Kickstarter campaign to turn his project into a book. We're happy to see the project come full circle – the book is finished and it will be released on this year's Record Store Day, April 19, 2014. We'll have it at Stones Throw:
This is a big book, with over 400 pages, interviews with folks like Gilles Peterson, Kieran Hebdan, Rich Medina, Gaslamp Killer, a Forward by RZA, and of course 250 color photos, which really make the book worth picking up. (But be careful when you pick it up – it's heavy.)
