Angela Muñoz‘s debut EP on Stones Throw, Descanso, is out now. Throughout the six new songs, she reflects on memories from her upbringing, looking back to her childhood and sharing feelings of loss and change. Written with her brother, the EP’s overarching theme is love in its various forms.
Descanso means “to rest” in Spanish. Angela explains, “Rest is necessary for growth, it allows time to digest experiences and feelings, and helps me better understand them.” The six-song project showcases both vulnerability and strength, offering comfort to herself and others.
