THE STEPKIDS DIRECT TO DISC
Limited edition single LP, recorded live, directly to vinyl.
Two announcements for The Stepkids today: Fall 2011 US tour dates with The Horrors, and the release of The Stepkids Direct to Disc LP. The record was recorded live, directly to vinyl at Stones Throw’s Direct to Disc #2 event back in May. These came back from the pressing plant just yesterday – plain white jackets with a hand-stamped title on front. These are limited edition records which will not be released on digital or CD formats.
The video was shot at the event. “Sweet Salvation” is a new and unreleased song. Director: Alex Pelly; editors: Adi Putra and Brian Lam; cameramen: Ariana Natale, Jon Casey, Kevin Klauber.
