Stones Throw would like to send prayers and condolences to all of those who have been affected by the recent, tragic events in Japan. We’ve always appreciated the Japanese people’s unwavering support. We hope the current crisis in Japan will subside, and that the world will support Japan’s recovery. We at Stones Throw are in the process of formulating charitable projects and events which we will announce shortly.
 
We’ve been working with Stussy in recent months on Stones Throw’s 2011 Japan Tour featuring Peanut Butter Wolf, J.Rocc and Mayer Hawthorne in Tokyo (April 8th) and Osaka (April 9th), and have been helping produce J. Rocc’s solo tour as well. We have been in daily and continual discussions with every partner of this tour in Japan. We hope to proceed ahead, but we need to take all necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of our artists, our staff and venue staff, and our fans. We are hoping that we will be able to give updated information in the coming week: we will provide the updated information here, stussy.jp and each venue’s website as soon as possible.

If we are able to proceed ahead with this tour, Stones Throw will donate 100% of its profits to the Red Cross and their relief efforts in Japan.
 
Once again, we hope and pray that the people of Japan stay positive and strong during this trying time. Our thoughts and support are with you.

この度の東北太平洋沖地震により被災されました方々へ、心からお見舞いを申し上げます。Stones Throwが音楽レーベルとして設立された1996年より、私たちが素晴らしいと信じてリリースしてきた音楽作品に対しての日本の方々からの力強いサポートは、常に感謝の気持ちでいっぱいであります。現在日本の皆様が直面している困難な状況に対して、世界中からのサポートにより一日も早い復興が行われるよう、心よりお祈り申し上げます。Stones Throwとしては、現在チャリティープロジェクト及びロサンゼルスにおいてのチャリティーイベントを企画進行中であり、近日中に詳細を発表できればと考えております。

また、約半年前よりStussyと企画と準備が着々と進行しておりました、Peanut Butter Wolf、J.Rocc、Mayer Hawthorneが出演予定のStones Throw Japan Tour 2011 (4月8日東京公演at UNIT、4月9日大阪公演at TRIANGLE)、及びJ.Roccソロによる他地方都市公演に関しては、震災後、ツアー関係者と日々継続的な協議を行っております。現段階では引き続き開催に向けて協議を進めておりますが、アーティスト、ツアー関係スタッフ、会場スタッフ、そしてファンの方々の安全面を今後も引き続き慎重に検討する事が必要だと考えております。最終的な開催決定のご連絡は、Stones Throwのウェブサイト、Stussy Japan、及び各会場のウェブサイトなどにより近日中に発表させて頂く予定でおります。
(4月1日に開催予定であった、J.Roccの仙台公演at ADDに関しては、震災の影響により、誠に残念ながら既に延期が決定した事をお伝えさせて頂きます。)
