It’s been over two years since Sudan Archives released Natural Brown Prom Queen. Since then, she’s toured with Andre 3000, Caroline Polachek, and Tame Impala – playing festivals like Coachella and Glastonbury. Now she’s finally back with “DEAD” – a track that sees Brittany Parks transform into Sudan 2.0.
Recorded in Los Angeles, Chicago and Detroit, “DEAD” pushes the boundaries of orchestral Black dance music, and is Sudan’s most high-energy, club-forward release yet. Jonah Haber directed the new music video. Stay tuned for more new music from Sudan throughout 2025.
