Our Vinyl Weighs A Ton: This Is Stones Throw

OUR VINYL WEIGHS A TON (THIS IS STONES THROW RECORDS), a feature-length documentary about our label, is currently in the works and slated for completion in early 2013.

Weaving together rare concert footage, never-before-seen archival material, inner-circle home video and photos, as well as in-depth interviews with the folks who put Stones Throw on the map, director Jeff Broadway’s OUR VINYL WEIGHS A TON will explore the label’s history, sound, artists, and global following.

OUR VINYL WEIGHS A TON is still in production, and Broadway’s Gatling Pictures is soliciting donations to fund its completion. In order to cover remaining shooting and editing costs, Gatling launched a Kickstarter campaign which will run until the end of November.
