TONY COOK – VIDEO ROCK 12-inch

Tony Cook is one of the most sampled artists of all time, a drummer for James Brown & The JB's beginning in 1976, and whose solo record ”On the Floor – Rock It” (1984) has been referred to as “the Grand Daddy of all House Records”.

Stones Throw is releasing a collection of Tony Cook's work this year called Back to Reality. “Video Rock” is the second single we've done with Tony, following “What's On Your Mind” from earlier this year.

Side A: “Video Rock” is previously unreleased and mixed down by Peanut Butter Wolf using the original master tapes.

Side B: A short version of “Get To The Point” was released as a 7-inch back in the day. This is the full 6-minute version (with instrumental) released for the first time.
