The Stepkids just released a new video for “Moving Pictures,” the latest track from their sophomore album Troubadour. The video stars comedian Kyle Mooney, who has just joined the cast of Saturday Night Live. It’s directed by Henry DeMaio. The band kicks off a tour of Europe tomorrow – dates below.
Pitchfork‘s Jason Bromwich writes about Troubadour: “a dynamite listen. The song structures here are fantastic … Desert in the Dark and Moving Pictures are both crowd-movers, which manage to retain the experimental edge that defines the Stepkids’ music, packed into potent pop.” (link)
