Gabriel Garzón-Montano is a Brooklyn-born and bred singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. His debut EP, Bishouné, came out in 2014, followed by a tour with Lenny Kravitz. He's now on Stones Throw, planning a full length album – Jardin – to be released January 27, 2017.
The genesis of “Sour Mango” was originally recorded during the Bishouné sessions. As he began working on Jardin, he returned to the song and re-recorded the majority of it, replacing the programmed elements of the beat with live drums, percussion and strings.
