Welcome Maylee Todd to Stones Throw. She’s a musician, performance artist, and producer based in Toronto, whose themes are inspired by science fiction and conceptual art.
Some background: Her grandfather “The Great Toddini” was an escape artist whose car was once hit by an UFO, her mother is a visual artist, and her father is an Elvis, Sinatra, and Neil Diamond impersonator. Maylee Todd’s music debut was the album Choose Your Own Adventure in 2010. More recently she toured the Virtual Womb show, a DIY 3D multimedia experience, performing her self-produced Acts of Love (2017).
Her first single on Stones Throw is “No Other,” accompanied by visuals created by Kyvita which display the Tenori-on, an electronic interface that Maylee frequently incorporates into her sound.
