Christophe Lemaire, the Creative Director for iconic French sportswear brand Lacoste as well as his own brand Lemaire Collection, has collaborated with one of his favorite music labels, Stones Throw Records, for the Summer ’08 Lemaire Collection.
Lemaire has flagship stores in Paris and Tokyo. Their clothing is designed in Paris, produced in Japan, and inspired by a large spectrum of cultures: pop, rock, mods and misfits featuring street style for the sidewalk to the catwalk.
For the Summer ’08 Collection, Lemaire features ten cut and sew pieces for men/women, including pieces inspired by Stones Throw artist Madlib, the albums “Donuts” and “Rhythm Trax,” and the Stones Throw brand itself.
To celebrate the launch, Stones Throw founder Peanut Butter Wolf and labelmate James Pants will DJ the opening party at the Paris Flagship Store on March 21st.
