The story, via LA Weekly, goes that someone comes across Madlib throwing out a box of 45s. The guy says, you don't want these? Madlib says, fuck it, done with them. So the guy takes the box out of the trash and gives them to his boy DJ EGROEG, who made this mix.
We haven't had a chance to ask Madlib about this story yet, but it might be the first case we know of him cleaning up the studio.
