Make BLARF’s Next Music Video

Eric André wants you to make the films for his new BLARF album, Film Scores for Films That Don’t Exist. We’re hosting a video competition across the world and throughout your algorithms aimed at finding the best visuals to accompany Eric’s original compositions.

The contest starts June 16th and runs until July 16th… or until we’ve gone through all of the submissions and found the perfect video – all to be judged by Eric André and Peanut Butter Wolf.

Contest Rules:

  • Use the hashtag #FILMSCORESFORBLARF across all social media platforms to enter the competition.
  • Feel free to post on a combination or all of YouTube, IG, and TikTok.
  • Absolutely no A.I. (But you can use original illustration, animation, claymation, mixed media – go crazy).
  • No nudity (sorry).
  • Vertical or horizontal is fine – we accept all aspect ratios.
  • All video submissions must use a minimum of 30 seconds up to the entire BLARF track.
  • Use any song from BLARF’s Film Scores for Films That Don’t Exist album (tracks are available to buy on Bandcamp, iTunes, 7Digital etc.)
  • Both short films and music video formats are accepted.

Grand Prize:

  • BLARF swag includes Film Scores for Films That Don’t Exist 2LP
  • BLARF t-shirt autographed by Eric André
  • Official music video hosted on Stones Throw YouTube and social channels.
  • $1,000 USD

Note: By entering, contestants agree to sign Stones Throw’s standard video director agreement if chosen as the winner.
