With countless musical accolades including five years worth of world championship DJ competition titles, features on primetime radio mix shows for Los Angeles' top radio stations for over a decade, and providing production and DJing support for some of hip-hop's most notable recording artists including Dilated Peoples, Madlib, J Dilla, Cypress Hill and the Visionaries, the Beat Junkies have profoundly influenced and impacted the international music scene and DJ community since the early 90s.
This year, the Beat Junkies are celebrating their 20th anniversary with a world tour modeled off their legendary Los Angeles nightlife parties that turned the Knitting Factory into a legendary epicenter of hip-hop. Their roots sunk deep in the foundation of modern hip-hop and, to this day, their influence continues to expand in the culture.
