Banana is an ensemble led by Josiah Steinbrick, with Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint), Josh Klinghoffer (Red Hot Chili Peppers, PJ Harvey, and more), Cate Le Bon, Huw Evans, and Stephen Black. The band first came together as live backing for Cate Le Bon’s Crab Day tour. This is their first release.
“This all-caps outfit in fact makes relatively lowercase, and beguiling, instrumental live music,” writes Randall Roberts, LA Times.
