Before he was ever torturing celebrities on a fake talk show or making strangers chug ranch, Eric attended Berklee College of Music, specializing in upright bass. His latest effort is a return to those roots. While BLARF’s first album Cease and Desist was a plunderphonics sample-clearance nightmare matched only by his drunken Ronald McDonald costume, Film Scores ups the ambition, enlisting full orchestras in Budapest and Los Angeles to set the scene for the 16mm masterpieces that exist only in Eric’s mind.

BLARF will be at Zipper Hall in Los Angeles on April 27th, where he’ll perform the new album with a full orchestra for one night only. His tuxedo may or may not have the ass cut out. You can purchase tickets before they sell out here.
