The EP marks a triumphant comeback for Kyle, following the viral controversy surrounding the use of AI in his “Digital Society” music video. It’s a situation that Kyle deeply regrets, but as he has stated, it was his friend Riley who was responsible for making the video, not him. Kyle has since begun raising awareness for human-based art, and is now determined to spread joy through his strictly A.I.-free music and videos, and this release is his way of doing exactly that.
Kyle M says, “I was gifted my first guitar on Christmas Day, 1993. It changed my life. I hope this collection of songs does the same for you.” Staying true to his DIY spirit, Kyle recorded and produced every track on the EP himself, crafting a combination of vocals and instrumentation that is unlike anything anyone has ever heard.
Adding to the festive release, the EP is accompanied by a music video for standout track “Mrs. Claus Is Getting Down,” starring Alicia Silverstone as Mrs. Claus.
