The Minimal Wave Tapes Vol. 2 is released worldwide this week. Here's a video from the album, “Fire!” from Ruins, circa 1984.
Ruins formed in Mezze, Italy in 1978 as a multimedia project, placing nearly as much emphasis on their album art, videos and projections as their music. They recorded ‘Fire’ at Anna Rich Studios in Venice in 1984 and released it that same year on Compagnia Generale Del Disco Records.
