Dam-Funk is announcing a long lineup of shows through Summer 2011, after which he'll be releasing the followup to his epic Modern Funk album Toeachizown.
Dam’s also been hard at work on many projects, such as the album with Slave frontman, Steve Arrington, for a record which is set for release later this year on Stones Throw. The first single off Arrington's album is Goin' Hard.
At the top of September, Dam-Funk and his three piece live accompaniment, Master Blazter, will embark on a tour of the West Coast around festival appearances at Bumbershoot & MusicFest NW. This follows a Summer full of additionally notable festival slots – Bonnaroo, Roskilde, The Detrioit Electronic Music Festival, and Winnipeg Jazz Festival to name a few – and a Fall/Winter sure to be filled with exciting news to follow.
Funk is NOT a fad. It's a way of life.
