Josh da Costa

Chances are you’re already familiar with Josh da Costa from legendary NYC DIY band Regal Degal (RVNG, Terrible Records) or synth duo CMON (Mexican Summer). These days you’ll find him sharing underground gems on his regular “Confusing Mix” NTS show, DJing around LA, or performing with Drugdealer, Jessica Pratt, MGMT, Chris Cohen, and many more. Despite his deep roots in NYC and LA’s music scenes, Josh is yet to release his first solo record proper. “Skygirl” is the first taste of his solo debut, years in the making. Josh says: “‘Skygirl’ is about starting fresh and new beginnings. A new romance or love that can help usher in a new chapter or life phase.
