Sound Directions Banned from Texas Prisons As reported in the December 2005 letters section in URB Magazine, a recent issue of theirs was deemed inappropriate reading material for murders and rapists in Texas prisons by the Dept of Criminal Justice. Reason: sexually explicit content on page 27, the Sound Directions ad. Stones Throw Records would like to offer its apologies to Urb Magazine for our lewd representation. In related news, release of the LP was delayed by two weeks because the printing house refused to duplicate the cover image. The cropped image was accepted. Official explanation: "Dildo in ass not ok. Nipple biting ok."
