J-Rocc V J-Man CD
J. Rocc has teamed up with Jazzman Records for J-Rocc V J-Man, a mixtape of J.Rocc personal selection of Jazzman's over 200-title catalog of funk and soul tracks.
Jazzman Gerald has released everything from electronic library treasures to hardcore deep funk bangers, ethnic modal jazz to forgotten soulful masterpieces, including several titles co-issued in the US by Now-Again Records. His reissue labels - Funk 45, Soul 7 and Jazzman – have flawlessly brought forgotten and unknown records to the modern day market.
J. Rocc needs no introduction ... but just in case: Party rocker, turntablist, collector, producer, old-school digger, general hip-hop icon, and best DJ at whatever event he's spinning.
So here’s a relentless label at the top of its game joining up with the undisputed king of the turntables. With a great deal of unspoken respect between the two parties, this harmonious collaboration not only rounds off what Jazzman is all about but also shows off the skills of J. Rocc, working as an introduction into two different worlds that cross-over whenever good music is involved.
