I haven't seen much of errol Morris' works. Atleast not since I've been old enough to fully appreciate it. May have to do some watching now you mention him.

he's incredible really, i'd recommend pretty much everything he's done. The Thin Blue Line in particular if you liked The Jinx.

though since this is a TV thread, he made an awesome series called First Person that's just basically a little mini-doc each episode, in the classic errol morris interview style.

Yeah word. Gonna watch the thin blue line tonight :) I love true crime when it's done with style and grace. Just a shame 95% of true crime t.v is corny as fuck with deep voice over dubs and giant reenactment words splattered across the screen...

Blackish is my shit. The show explores black stereotypes, beliefs, and characteristics theough Andre's own family after moving from the hood to the Suburbs. The running concern of Andre's is whether or not moving to the Suburbs means losing your sense of "blackness".

So I've started watching Louie, great stuff indeed. Turns out I only saw the pilot before, with the school bus and the date, not really an episode to start the show with, doesn't really ease into it... I think I wouldn't have minded if that episode appeared somewhere halfway.

Anyway, I'm halfway through season 4 now, first episode of this season is probably my favorite so far.

is that related to the film Gomorrah?

http://www.imdb.com/...?ref_=tt_rec_tt

I thought that film was ok... Definitely shows you a side of Italy you don't see very often, and also a side of the mob you don't see in many of the Hollywood mafia flicks

My brother bought me a copy of the book as well, I found it a bit of a hard read, I often find books translated into English don't flow that well... But I think it was pretty groundbreaking in that the author named a lot of names, which nobody else had the balls to do previously... However that also made it a bit boring, reading lists of names when you don't have much of a clue who they actually are

Anyway I digress
