Man I still can't get over the good times episode where Malona discovers that Penny's drunk mama burned her with an iron. I basically modeled my entire adulthood After J.J. Evans (de la ghetto). Martin as Dragonfly Jones too.

Yes, seen it all, very good stuff!

Though it falls back in the last couple of episodes, glad they decided to end it after two seasons so the body of work isn't diminished by a third one.

so i've been watching this, like, Russian sci-fi miniseries from the mid '80s -- it's translation is Guest From the Future...it's actually pretty good.

it's interesting to see how they pull off the idea of time travel and space pods and aliens with such a lo-fi set-up and low budget to work with.  i've noticed there's a shit-ton of long takes throughout each episode, which i think was also a budget thing because it looks like it was shot on film.

but yeah...i guess the main character, Alice, is this famous character in Russia that stars in all sorts of children's novels and stuff -- like their version of Harry Potter basically.  i wonder why she never caught on over here?  the concept's cool enough: young girl travels back in time 100 years to 1984 to get back her prized possession from a dumb kid who just kind of accidentally went to the future.

Who else agrees that Better call Saul really should have been 'Better call Ehrmantraut'?

Fargo was dope. Mainly because of Billy Bob.
