Dangerdoom is BANGIN. If you cant feel Mouse then at least give it up for Doom, cause he rips on that album.

MM Food is his best solo effort, the concept, the wordplay the beats, the segues...

Madvillainy, OD and VV1 are all absolute gems but I had to give props to DD cause it seems like its underappreciated...maybe its also cause I dig ATHF.

That Vaudeville Villain be nice yo.

Madvillain, I don't even really need to mention, it's a given.

The Mouse and the Mask, if you also include the Occult Hymn EP, shit was dope.

King Gheedorah was also hella dope.

Madvillainy
Take Me To Your Leader
Mm...Food?
Operation Doomsday
Vaudeville Villain
Mouse And The Mask
Born Into This
Venemous Villain.

Take Me To Your Leader would take it if DOOM was on the mic more on that LP.

Lol, it's funny how you said Venomous Villain was one/sixteenth-assed.

Yeah, I like around 2 tracks off VV2.

I don't get the DD hate - it's a good album bar the annoying skits and a couple duff tracks.

If you combine Occult Hymn and Mouse and the Mask you have, a better LP.

These are my favorites as well. Madvillainy is just classic; one of the best hip hop albums ever created IMO. All the samples used on Operation Doomsday are so smooth...love this album for chilling. MM...Food is just mad good.

yessir, f*cking love that beat even if the sample has been used to death. Raekwon destroys it.

To me It's between VVVV1 and Operation DOOMSDAY.

I always go back to both But VVVV1 wins by a hair.

No. 1: Operation Doomsday (Personally, bought this at Fat Beats when it first came out while visiting NY for the first time, hadn't even heard Doom before... changed my life. One of my faves of all time).

No. 2: Madvillainy (no need to explain here...)

No. 3: Take Me to Your Leader (Doom at his production best. And The Fine Print is just mega large amazingness).

No. 4: MM Food.

No. 5: Born Like This

After that, I'm not fussy.

lol who are the 4 people reppin' Venomous Villain as their FAVORITE DOOM album?!

EDIT: one vote is explained as accidental on the first page. the other three?!

Dangerdoom, though not my vote, is incredibly on-point. It's weird to me to see all the hate (there's love too) for it on this thread. Even if you weren't in the right-place/right-time to get all the adult swim stuff (which I was, I suppose), DOOM's verses are amazing on there. The non-AS tracks like Crosshairs and Badabing are so lyrically on point I STILL shake my head in wonder. And I gotta disagree with the Wayniac on the combo of the beats and the flow, even though he proceeds to rank it on-par with Op Doomsday with an 8.5 haha. It's like DOOM's last bangin' party album to me, everything post-TM&TM is all dark and gruff and apocalyptic (which is great too). He twisted up his flow to fit in with Jneiro Jarel's style for JJ DOOM and I think the result is slightly less effortless than on the DanderDoom record.

Why is Born Like This so far off the radar? Not as classic as MV but should be on the list at least!
