heard anything about MACHETE? http://en.wikipedia..../Machete_(film)

Nothing new on it really. A lot of people seem to still think it's a big joke that will never be made. Still others have made claims that both Rodriguez and Trejo confirmed that it will be made. It might be part of a Mexican-Exploitation trilogy. Who knows.

^^^ Yeah, but the "Don't" trailer was made by Edgar Right.

So that would be real good if it was made into a full film

seems like some us-critics are weird retards with sensory disorder.

i know that roger ebert wrote a bad review...

but he also wrote bad reviews for blue velvet, fight club, clockwork orange,...

so it doesn't matter at all.

I just saw Black Snake Moan with Samuel Jackson and Christina Ricci. It was pretty good. I didn't know J.T and David Banner. That David Banner he a good actor.......

I'm suppose to go see Sex in the City movie tonite because it's G's nite out. I'm not even into bitch flicks like that. I got nigga tendencies when it comes to movies (scuse my language) I'm all about a good fight and brief love scenes

Black Snake Moan is incredible, trippy but simple cinematography, and that scene where Samuel plays for Ricci during the lightening Storm, it has kind of a borderline Grind House feel to it, with that 70'ies poster arrangement in scenery, almost. Samuel also draws a little from his Caveman Valentine character, plus he plays yet another reclusive and reluctant music wiz...

Funny that Justin one more time plays a anxiety-ridden character, who babbles on about he be getting out-of-breath and sweats, and gets stomach cramps, just as he did in that other (and not that good) flick Alpha Dog

How is the reflection on that knife even possible? Is he standing in front of a mirror? Take a good look at it.

maybe this was just a little gimmicky idea to show the arbitariness, paradox and fictionalization of the character who always seem to be mistaken for other people and to show the two sides of his personality in a more surreal way...

A double relation is accentuated by mental processes leaping from one character to another--or is marked by the fact that the subject identifies himself with something else, so that he is in doubt as to which his self is.

Yeah that's what I figured. But I just thought it was funny because it reminded me of some of those bad 80's movie posters that defy logic.

how was it?

Pretty good. I think it would have worked better as a dark comedy, but very ambitious for a first feature of the writer/director.
