anybody seen this documentary?

i about to watch it right now.

its got Seu Jorge, Funk'n Lata, Zenith, Antonio Nobrega, Silberio Pessoa, Ivo Meirelles, and Darue Malungo and tons of other stuff

i found it at the tower records going out of business sale.

the shit is so expensive there. this one wasn't too bad $14 but some of thier dvds are $30-40

this should hold me over till brasilintime comes out.

does anybody know when the dvd will be released?

I can't wait.....

we all been waitin'. I had the opppurtunity to catch a live performance of "Keepin time" very good show.

anyways i spoke to b+ and asked what was up with the delay. Their submitting the film to sundance and a lot of other film festivals so your guess is as good as mine.

this documentary is insane..

serious

you guys gotta order/ see this .

ever hear of these brothers Caju & Castanha?
they made tambourines out of cut down aluminium cans.
they would go out in the street every day and procussion jam and freestyle/sing to people passing by.
they started when they were 5 and 7 and kept on doing it until they were way old
one of the brothers died and his son took over
they claim they were doing hip hop way before anyone in the united states

this is just one of the interesting artists covered on this dvd

the director is a guy from holland or some scandanavian place
he covers 25-30 different groups/musicians
& travels all over brazil - more than 4000KM

this was such a lucky find

Interested in his take, if it isn't just screwy last.fm tagging and therefore doesn't exist.
