i just got back from ny and bought her album there, came back home rolled up a big phillie (the don't sell them in holland no more :mellow:), listend to the album and it blew my mind.
the beats are SICK and she got a real nice voice. if you ain't got the album yet go out and buy it! cause this women got mad talent.

absolutely, very underrated artist on the fine Stones Throw roster. crazy talent - her family's jazz background shows through in her composition. and yep, the beats are definitely ILL. :mellow:

definitely. her ear for harmonies is nuts. some other world shit. how's she sound live?

iono how a live show would be..
part of me suspects that Georgia Anne would tear it down somethin serious..
another part says that she'd need at least 6 (highly skilled and coordinated) backup singers to pull of most of what's on the album...

I see the talent and all but I can't get into this album AT ALL. "Simply a joy" is the only joint on Chrome Children I skip everytime too
