Did anyone else read in the new scratch mag about a free talib kweli and madlib album. the article says theres one madlib track on kweli's next album. then it says "the chemistry between talib and madlib was so strong that they are recording an entire album, Liberation, that will be given out to fans for free." according to the mag the madlib track on kweli's new album will have norah jones on it. dont believe it—check for yourself in the nov/dec issue of scratch.

seriously thats going to be fire

no, if the album was going to be released by a label it could take 1-2 years..i think since they are going to be giving it away there will not be a wait. (hopefully)

The album should be done by now... Kweli & Madlib...that's what the unseen told me.

+ that track on Kweli's album; isn't that "Funny Money"? a dope beat, that Stacey Epps uses...for muthaland on her myspace...?

I can't wait. Raw Shit was so ill! I pray this gets an official release and not some 7" vinyl only release. What are the odds I'll be able to find this on iTunes or Rhapsody or eMusic?

they talkin an actual album tho..

seriously, how ridiculous would this be??

not to sound all stupid or whatever, but more rappers need to follow this method with a singular dope producer.. cos I'm sure we'd all PAY for this typa thing..

altho I dig the Ken Starr method of finding a BUNCH of dope producers.. that works, too. ;)
