I vote for quasquasquas, with honorable mentions to Josh G and jayred. Nice work y'all. Nice work everyone, actually.

Now that that's over... Subbase, where's the party at? :P

My vote is for Josh G...diggin the rhythm of the track...the verse parts...everything was dope.

Runners up in my book go to DeezSteez, Aeorosol Breath, and quasquasquas.

EDIT: party at my place...but it's mostly family & close friends...celebratin' my 30th...

My vote goes to -->AerosolBreath<--

Runners UP:
soleil
Subbass
quas3

Wow, thanks alot to those who voted for me, those are my first ever votes! Showing my apreesh with some mini-reviews! Thanks!

Josh G - Nice and smooth. good atmosphere, nice sample work. usual qaulity. great drums!

jahblah - didn't like the intro, man. unnecessary looping. the second loop sounded much better and everything blended nicely after the 1 minute mark.

Subbass - I think the mix sounded good. Sample work was pretty good, I think no sample was longer than maybe .5 seconds or so...kind of a tougher song to sample imo. the buzzing synths you were talking about sounded pretty good...good intro, dope overall as usual.

theyoungelohim9 - did not like the intro--I don't need to hear the naked sample looped. later on the looping is better. this song has an idendity crisis. i definitely enjoyed it, you put in good work and the hype and dj bits are cool.

BigErnMcCracken - that was good, man. i liked it but had to crank my volume way up, the mix was pretty quiet. anyway i like the off-kilter sound, the intro was dope. besides the mix being a little off, i loved it.

AerosolBreath - i really liked this joint. had my head nodding every time. it's really spare but I could learn a lesson from that. Mix seemed a little quiet, but overall 'ish was DOPE!!! That sampled voice is starting to wear on me but that's just because everybody had to use it, lol...

quasquasquas - had a real nice slow vibe to it. nice vox layering, sounded natural. i wanted a little more out of the beat change near the end... this is a really fresh cut, nice!

soleil - nice! i love the beat changes. the main vox cut started to wear, but the sound was tight. nice drums, 'cept that hat started to sound really robotic. what is this song, like 5 movements? good work. quality!

DeezSteez - thanks for all the feedback on the battle thread. i think honesty is for more polite/helpful/whatever than bs flattery. anyway, this was really a really nice cut, the repeated phrase is kind of hilarious and sounds good. Nice, really smooth mix! I like the sampled rim. Kept my head nod going the whole time, really nice work!

Tone - nice drums. the lead vox sample was kind of cool, although it went maybe a little long. movement 2 was dope. i like the drums all the way through! good work! a little long, though.

The Wig Master - very good, original! the cutting was great, I liked the whole vibe. you should have STMB38 listed somewhere on yr myspace, maybe. The bass farts sounded a little off pitch, but I still liked em. Overall, the constructed melody was twisted and great!

Wow, a lot of experiment going on in this round.
Truly inspiring music from Deez Steez, quasquasquas, Tkurata and Josh G.

My vote goes to Tkurata this time, I love the mood of the beat.

Wow, thanks a lot everybody! Did not expect this. Rather than wait for that "old" guy to drag his hungover ass out of bed, I am working on the #39 thread right now. It will be up in about 10-15 minutes.

Just when I was getting ready to give up on music...lol, just kidding. No really, thanks, I was just hoping for one vote. Props to all 12 producers who laid down some serious heat this week!

thanks for the votes. i usually don't write the stmb# cause i make it come up automatically as the 1st track, but next time i might do that.
im gonna change the bass up and make the melody a little less repetitive...

Maybe just put STMB#xx as the "Album Name," that way we can be sure. Some don't put the current BB# as the first track, so it's helpful. Of course those of us who flipped the sample can recognize it...anyway.

Sounded good, man.
