That's actually pretty cool...I like the way the beat switches up after a few bars...then goes back again. I think if it could benefit from anything, it'd be a bassline...somethin thumpin'...but then again I tend to make my stuff too bass-heavy sometimes, so don't necessarily listen to me. LoL

thanks man. you're probably right though, it does need a bassline...sadly, I have no bass samples, and even if I did, I'd probably suck at putting it together. :D

Do you have any sine wave samples? That's what I used on my beat...they work nicely for deep trunk-rattling basslines. You just hafta find the right pitch to play 'em at.

but unlike dansmith, I've got the balls to post it on here, and that's what counts. :blink:

he posted something on his myspace.

to my ears its a very 9th wonder style beat (not neccessarily shite, just ok) with a Jay Z acapella on it.

and the vox come in on the wrong beat aswell which makes it sound amazing..

the way he endlessly hyped it up, I was hoping for more.
