This shit's CRAZY! He sounds like Nas in his prime, beats from Dilla, Mr. Porter, Nottz... What the fuck is this? Anyone know anything else about him?

I have a CD with like 15 or so tracks from him. I like the eternal sunshine song the most.. he's pretty good IMO.. not one of my faves but he has talent.

I heard one of his songs on www.hypem.com. It's produced by Jay Dee and called 'Bitches and Drugs.' The guy does sound like Nas, if he took a sip from the fountain of youth. But he also makes me think of Rakim or Big Daddy Kane.

he is signed to erykah badu's Control FreaQ records... she started the label just to put out his music

Jay is the truth, tho, if you havent heard his stylewars ep... well lets just say you need to find it somewhere

here is a track with Mr. Porter, a "music video" for a Dilla-produced track, and a link to a dope interview he did last week... this dude is the truth, dont sleep!

http://www.dropmagaz...prod-mr-porter/

ps -we've been havin some issues with the audio playback on the site, so the playback might sound slowed down a bit, but the video is all good.

Amen to that! Heard that Dilla-track before Common's Be album locked it down...

...Also caught the Knottz-produced Something To hold On To around that time, btw, nice track!
