Here's his Myspace page link:

http://www.myspace.com/truelight2309

So check a few of the tracks & see what ya think...and if you like what you hear, buy some of his music (or even offer to buy his CD featuring Miki Vale, PumpkinHead and others). He's a cool cat strugglin to support his family...but he's doin' good things with his music...

Hell, this might be that rookie card album in a couple of years that you wish you didn't sleep on!

Oh, and tell him JukeB[]x sent ya...

Rumble was my favorite but that wasnt you're beat huh? sounds familiar...

I liked Mind Elevation it just sounded like it had a really broad dynamic range and so it was just too low. but I was still capable of hearing the beat and it was a good beat, so I tip my invisible hat

Yeah...Rumble isn't my beat...but Mind Elevation is one of my older ones. The tracks were mastered for the final album cut by L Boogie, and he messed with the range a bit too much for my tastes, but oh well...it's just the style he works. It shows more on the vocals than on the beats. A lot of the higher-end stuff like the "S" and "F" sounds are too harsh in the mix.

But anyway...gracias for the kind words...like I said though, if you dig any of the tracks (not just the ones I produced) feel free to kick dude some dollars or offer to buy the full CD...he's raising 2 daughters in a pretty nasty neighborhood, and every little dollar helps.

Peace.

You mean Eddie Henderson? lol...yeah...I actually had never heard "Coming Of Age" before I made that beat...never been a big Jay-Z fan...then one of my former students e-mailed me and told me about it...I was trippin' out. lol

Just linked up with True last night and he's getting backing to independantly release his album!! So be on the lookout soon...a full 17 tracks...hot production by yours truly as well as DJ Crums and a few other local cats. Guest spots by PumpkinHead, Miki Vale, and others.

Gonna be a collector's item some day if this cat keeps grindin' like he is...trust me on that...

Latest update: True went back in and had the album re-mastered to fix the high-end overload & hiss...he said it's gonna bump much better and not hurt the ears so much...

I'll let ya know when the actual copies are out...
