official release date for the "limited edition" in usa: 5th of june
official release date for the "normal edition??" in japan: 8th of july
now look at this
official tracklist of the limited edition:
1 - J L J Intro

4 - Oh Oh
5 - First Time feat. Baatin & The Ruckazoid
6 - In The Streets

9 - Say It (Instrumental)

wheres the difference between the us and the japan-edition???more or less songs on the japan???are there japanese mcs on it,or what?
what are the rumored songs with truth hurts and raekwon???
whats the concept behind the whole japan-thing?

Does anyone besides me, remeber the mentioning of a DVD of videos, and such etc., being included with "Jay Love Japan" CD?!?!? That may be the difference between the limited edition and normal release edition?? I think the DVD was to be titled "The Light v.2.0"(because the videos used a new form of light medium experimentation) or sumthing, all of the videos were to be different, but somehow connect and relate to each other as a DVD experience.

these are 2 of the the videos, check 'em out here :

1.) "Can't You See" - J. Dilla/"Jay Love Japan" LP =

2.) "In The Streets" - J. Dilla/"Jay Love Japan" LP = (???/I couldn't locate it, appologies!)

wonder what happened to "Destiny" feat Pacific Division, "Ghetto Love" feat Truth Hurts, as well as "Sun in my FAce"(don't know if that was the official title)? There was also a joint with the "Windy City Chop" beat with Bo Bo Lamb on it, as well as "Nasty Ain't it" feat Jack Davey which prolly got cut because Phat Kat used that beat on "Carte Blanche"...

So I managed to buy this from hhv.de, and got it last week.
However, the tracklist on the back cover says that 'Feel the beat' is supposed to be in between 'In the streets' and 'Believe in God', making it a total of 10 tracks, but it's not!
Might have something to do with this delay or what it is?

Still can't understand why thay put both 'Say it' and the instrumental on this disc though, one of the weakest Dilla beats I've ever heard..

That's also the best track on the very, very short album. The note from Ma Dukes on the one-sided booklet is lovely.
