Thanks alot for the feedback folks! i enjoyed listening back to everyones entry's. I think we all raised our game a little on that round, was a tough choice when i voted, all the entry's had good parts in them.

how did you do that? it sounds like a wa wa but i bet you just ran some horn or something
I used Emagic's Logic Audio sequencer on the Mac, personally i think its the best sequencer about, i used afew vst's plug ins on the track playing the cut up samples, some of the T.C -Eq plugs as well as the crappy north pole filter with plenty resonance and some T.C reverb, i think i used the logic pitch shifter vst as well. i recorded a sweep on the filter for about a 16 bar length by recording the slider movement.
the mpc provided the beat for both parts i think, so basically i go into logic and cut up the sample, then record the result into the mpc and build a beat over the top, then record the mpc back into logic and apply more plugins over the whole track. i then put them into bias peak and normalize. i dont have the mpc midi'ed to the computer or connected digitally/usb, i just transfer the sound forth and back through a phono cable, its not a great way of doing things to be honest, but i still need a digital card for the mpc.
