That's you for real?

I've seen and heard things today that made me think of a few things. First, you know how you see ugly people and think, "Man, his/her mother must love them"?

And you go to a local artist's show and you feel bad for them when only 2 people clap?

yeah, i hate the feeling of knowing other people arent feelin it, but those 2 people are who I'd truely be performing for.

Nah but for real I just read the comments. I never heard your music before until tonight. I still say do what you do. And I know there are lots of people out there that are feeling you. Make music for yourself and for your fans...

hah! word.

My previous tracks were all feeling and zero creativity in flow. they were just my ways of talking to my girlfriend. That track is the LAST song she'll ever have from me, so IT'S A NEW DAY.

Glad you took the time to peep it.

UP!

well, like I said, thats the 1st of 4 new tracks for this week. well I'm hoping this week. I'm really sick, you know when you cough and you get the NASTY flem taste and smell coming back up. I got a jar right next to me just filled with flem (eeeeew)

Their are 2 tracks that are the party tracks you're looking for (one of them is more so than the other) with the punchlines and what not. Not one song will sound similar, which is good.

I thought the lyrics were ok but you mastered the vocals so that they sound very thin, the result is that your voice is kind of grating and I didn't really enjoy listening to the track because of that.

I felt the same way listening to it this morning. I'm not gonna be on myspace til I get all the tracks the way I want them for posting. I have the tracks recorded, but why put out other tracks with thin vocals? Plus, myspace is fucking lame when people use it in spiteful manners, so I'm taking mad medicine trying to get better since this is spring break and the perfect oppurtunity to use all this time to record.

thanks, i needed confirmation that that was the problem in the mix. I recorded it in a matter of 5 minutes worth of takes. Quick.
Word. these other tracks sound completely different, each a different producer for different projects. Still gotta rerecord the Dee Supreme, DJ, Macross, Asterikks & Ren tracks, and the Dennis Coronel accapella. busy. reeeeeeally fuckin busy. then there's the project that if mention, EVERYONE will get in uproar so i wont go there. mmmmmmmmmaaaaaan.

Definately realize I gotta rerecord this track!!!!

THANKS MAN!

just removed it.

didnt really think it was the vocal recording that was annoying. just the sound of your voice. sounds like blackalicious gone very wrong.

Everybody listen, I am speaking.

Let me give you some advice: What people do in their spare time as a hobby is up to them, if you and your friends like making music then good for you, but you should stop it at that. The second you start posting that stuff on the internet and getting all serious and defensive about it, saying things like "To the people who doubted my abilities Lyrically", that is the exact moment when everybody else stops taking you seriously. If you had come on here telling us you made that song for fun I would have smiled and respected it for what it was, a couple guys having fun and making amateur music in their spare time. But since you come on here all serious and cocky and acting like it deserves some sort of recognition amongst actual music, all I can do is laugh. I am embarrassed for you. That is all.

I can see why people have issues with scabs voice, and some of the earlier tracks I've heard I don't really feel.
But I can't see how people could complain about anything on the track produced by Bill...the beat and Scabs voice blend perfectly together, and it just sounds smooth..so if you haven't heard it, check it out.
I would pay to own that..and the beat..wow..

listening to it again, I think I know what it is about the voice that's buggin...

it sounds like he's trying too hard.

Or like maybe he's not flowin' at full volume, but he's trying to overcompensate to make it sound like he is...if that makes sense...

somethin like that...

I get what you're saying, and on some tracks, maybe...but definitely not on Bills track..
I feel the same about the one I made, on which he spits..fits the beat perfectly!

I think we're going to hear some really good stuff out of Mr. Scabs, and I also know he can be very efficient <_<
So I'm pretty sure he'll be delivering..

Scabs is getting better with time, but with me, subject matter and lyricism is most important in emceeing, and I'm not feeling his topics or methods of storytelling/description.

I think for 75.00 a pop i will do vid for everyone as long as each track is under or around 3 to 4min

I will post it on you tube and also send out a DVD copy to you so that you can post it on your myspace page.

I know that my stuff is wired however i have a talent for finding the appropriate footage and or you can tell me what you want.
Let me know i have a paypal account so it doesnt matter what country your in i think.

HONEY RIDER

p.s and if you have beef with me drop it on the ground squash it and lets make some art!

Vid is a bomb way to promote your stuff.
