No More Parties in LA is no longer there?
kanye / madlib

^^ nope. Isn't it ironic that what started this topic is no longer… at least what we thought it would be? You could tell "No More Parties in LA" was a loosie by the mix. Oh well –– it set the tone for the project wonderfully; solid non-album / promo single.

Yeah that is pretty lame. Wonder if any other Madlib production on the record, or maybe No More Parties was just used to build hype for folks who don't usually give a shit about Kanye lol . While I didn't imagine the version from the internet would be on the album, I figured it would be cleaned up as far as the mix/mastering/whatever goes and would be a solid track for a record imo. No Madlib = no listen from me anyway
Just give the beat to Freddie Gibbs for Pinata 2

Definitely a disappointment... Also not a fan of the new title lol but that has nothing to do with the music

Funny how there's merch ready to go for this project's release bearing the new title. Looks like he's been f**king w/ us for quite some time…

J. Rocc doesn't have a high opinion of Kayne. When he first played No More Parties in LA on Adventures in Stereo a few weeks ago, you could tell he liked the idea of Madlib + Kendrick but didn't care for Kanye's involvement.

HAHA what happened to those 6 madlib beat cds oh man jrocc straight up slaying me here.
such indie cred to publicly thank madlib for 6 beat cds and then use none of them

Geeezus, the sensitivity…
tracks don't make albums sometimes, it's ok
I'm no Kanye apologist or anything to that effect but I feel like J. Rocc is jumping the gun here. "No More Parties in LA" could make a compilation or something else w/ the Kanye / GOOD Music / Kendrick stamp and circulate $$ beyond measure as intended. I've not seen Kendrick's camp tweet subliminals and / or gripes yet… and they won't.

siding with kanye over jrocc is dangerous move pardner

In my opinion it is just kinda annoying to see, everyone hyping it up and Kanye tweeting "thanks Madlib" etc etc, showing it on the original track list, then to just ditch it. I do still wonder if any other Madlib production will appear on the record on other tracks, they haven't said who has produced what yet have they? I'm guessing Kanye is prob not gonna put any other Madlib on there though. Oh well, another Kanye release I won't check out lol
Even though I thought Kendrick was sorta weak on the track, would be sweet if Madlib could get a beat on the next album he is on (maybe even something on that Black Hippy record)
