I'm a little too lazy to look, but has anyone talked specifically about some of the Quakers rappers yet? If so, what are your thoughts on Coin Locker Kid? He sounds a bit to me like Signor Benedick the Moor or Abdu Ali, but with more avant-folk influences. I'm listening to Traumnovelle now, and it's some out there stuff, I'll tell you. It's no wonder David Byrne and Geoff Barrow champions him so.

I really liked his first couple releases but traumnovelle was a little too out there for me and his recent release, I forget the name, really lost me.

i've always admired his ability to transcend hip-hop/rap and just make interesting (even if not always good) music.  one time he complimented my beats back in like 2012

Yea. Intersting but I couldn't listen twice. The only album I go back to often is the Lars tape.
