Yo, so after asking about getting that ducking sound with the drums... what did you come away with? I see you've been using it here and there, so give me the tips ha ha

 

hey sorry for the late response I was busy out of town.For the ducking on an SP the best results i got was to just make sure the kick was way louder than everything else and also to throw your chops through like max compression ahead of time so the only thing that is reacting to the compressor is your drums.Experiment w/ that and you should get a good duck effect.Alot of my recent beats were on Ableton so I just side chained everything but the best way for SP is what i said above.
