j.rocc is incredible live. He's the best crowd rocker I've ever seen.

I saw him in San Jose at the jazz festival last year. He played this remix of "back to life" by soul II soul that builds up into an insane wall of synthesizers..... I've never been able to find it. Does anybody have an idea??? I'm desperate

Grifty -

That back 2 life flip is insane. It's actually a beat by Stro Elliot called Soul II Stro. Hope that helps!

Just found out he's doing a free show and talk as part of RBMA right near my house in melbourne, AUS this month. Too keen!

I still love Some Cold Rock Stuf, whenever I go running, it's one of my go to albums.  So many different tempos and styles, super underappreciated in my book.

Haven't had a chance to give my opinion on his red bull music academy talk/set in melbourne. Basically... Shit was crazy. Drinks were all paid for (thanks to the academy) so we basically just got to chill and listen to his story. He played some unreleased stuff straight from his ableton sessions, the highlight definitely being a guilty simpson track he's working on (next level).

Set was bananas, beyond reproach... When it comes to getting a crowd going the man is definitely a master of his craft. I would jump at any opportunity to see him again.
