Hey y'all,

I've been DJing in NYC quite often lately, and I feel as though my catalogue is getting a little stale. My speciality is 80s funk, so I've been playing a lot of Zapp, Ronnie Hudson, Fatback Band and such. I've got the essentials, but I'm always looking for more obscure stuff (70s or 80s)—can y'all help?

Yah, he has a few good songs, but not many. Interestingly enough, these great songs were written and produced by KC and the Sunshine Band. The vynil is pretty easy to find. Or do you do youtube?

Check his wife's tune, 90% of Me is You. Gwen McCrae.

well, since we're talking about funky songs by dudes dressed entirely in denim (when did that look become shorthand for gay anyway?):

and a different song with the same title (no denim involved this time, sorry):

90% of Me is You. Gwen McCrae.

Off topic - not asking anyone to snitch or anything, but isn't there a tiny bit of the strings from this in the og version of The Red?

I always thought so anyway.
