Could you link me to that?  I'm not trying to put you on the spot or anything.  I've just seen multiple references to this supposed cosign but haven't come across it myself.  It could potentially be one of the more interesting elements to this whole shenanigan.

The article was on OkayPlayer, but I can't find it there anymore.  But I did find an article on OKP mentioning a supposed project that Droog and Nas are working on (to be released on Mass Appeal Records).

I think he fucked up by revealing his identity so soon.  He's a good rapper and all that good stuff but without the allure of the unknown I haven't cared much for anything he's put out after the EP.  Anyone else sense a wane in momentum for YOD?

some old shit apparently.

If you were intrigued by Droog before he revealed his identity, why would you stop now?

Tamron Hall and Sleepers I thought were both pretty dope as far as the newer tracks are concerned

But yeah, I guess he should have waited until RIGHT before dropping a full length to maximize attention.

Choppedherringrecords.com (a UK site) has a Droog exclusive vinyl release of the EP, and it's...bizarre.

There's a 2xlp (500 copies, some of them are cheesily colored vinyl) that includes the whole EP, plus four bonus tracks (On the News is on there)

And an instrumental EP of the EP

and a bonus 12" that has Free Turkey, its instrumental and two bonus tracks. BUT this 12" is only available if you buy the "bundle" of both the 2xlp and the instrumental EP.

These are only available from the UK, and the prices are fuckin outrageous. the 2xlp is 50 bucks including shipping to US, if you want the bundle it would run you 90 dollars. Even though I was looking forward to a wax release, doubt I can cop it. I'd think twice before spending 50 on a madlib 2lp (and then i'd buy it).

For an artist who's barely (if even) signed 90 shipped is too damn much.  I'll wait for a rip/torrent lol
